Managers forum – Still people asking what was done with the share money from One F (Signed players and re-signed 2 youths).

Steven Jackson thanked Peter Jack for his treasury report and all of the work he has done on the stall.
6) Social report.
General knowledge quiz is on the 22nd of March, £10 for a team of 4 and £100 prize money. To be held at the Castings Club. Donations asked for prizes at the quiz raffle.
Race night – A Friday night in the next few weeks. Money raised from the race night to go to the youth development.
Brian Guthrie discussed arranging games (14s,15s,16s) with Newcastle United week beginning April 13th at Stirling University, Newcastle United have given permission to Falkirk for 2 youths to train down at Newcastle for a few weeks.
7) Board report.
Was held back until the end of February – Chairman expected a minimum £s worth of shares and 2 members never contributed. Stevie Jackson thanked Douglas Paterson for all the work he done. Falkirk Football Club has appointed Douglas McIntyre as a Director. It was the manager Steven Pressley’s first report and stated he has been on various scouting missions. He hopes Mark Stewart is back before May and Carl Finnigan just after him. Various players have signed and for under 16s/17s re-signed their contracts. James Bloom moved up to the 1st team squad, the Welsh FA expect Bloom to be a great talent in the future. Key under 19s players are signed for another season at least. Paul Sludden has been recalled and Stewart Murdoch is away on loan to gain experience. Jamie Barclay is years away from being the no1 goalkeeper and may be loaned out next season yet again to gain experience. Michael Andrews – Looks like a club are taking him on loan for the whole of next season and both goalkeepers still have a future at the club.1 player on the out of contracts list that he wants to retain. Most players he wants to sign for next season are young loan signings, English Premier League, Championship players and older experienced SPL movement of players.
SPL structure was under discussion and to try and create a transition league (for fringe reserve players and under 21s) Martin Ritchie wanted BairnsTrust to organise more road shows and referee nights before the end of the season.
The club has no debts and are cash flow – driven; the club are working on budgets for next season (whether that is SPL or 1st division).
Discussions over ticket and season ticket prices for next season and organised meetings with fans to discuss ticket and season ticket prices for next season.
It was noted that BairnsTrust still don’t have recognition on Falkirk TV.
Retail: Low turnover – discussions.
East stand – 6 or 7 different ways were being discussed to get financing for a new stand in the next 3 to 4 years. Discussing shirt sponsorship for next season
Question from the floor – Where are we playing next season (friendlies).
Answer – Don’t know yet until we know what league we are going to be playing in.
