Fans are reminded that the Falkirk v Rangers game is on Sunday 03/12/06, and the KO time is 2pm.

BairnsTrust have been contacted by Falkirk District Council in conjunction with Falkirk FC to help undertake another Traffic Survey at the Stadium on Sunday 3rd December 2006.

We have previously helped with this community cause before and obtained good responses from supporters at each game.

At the Trust Monthly Meeting on Mon 20/11/06 the issue of Car Parking in and around the Stadium was a hot topic in the question and answer session with F.F.C. Managing Director George Craig.

If you have any views on this matter, we are offering the opportunity for you to help in this latest survey.

We would very much appreciate if you can respond by your preferred contact method below if you wish to volunteer to collect data from 1pm until 1.55pm on Sunday 03/12/06 under Falkirk District Council/Falkirk FC/BairnsTrust direction at the Falkirk Stadium turnstiles.

Please note that numerous Trust Committee Members will be in attendance.

Hoping this will be to our mutual benefit.

We had an enlightening and passionate presentation by George Craig at our meeting on Mon 20/11/06 which attracted even more members to our gathering.

The draw for the next round of "Boardroom Experience" winners was also made and the following were selected:

03/12/06  Rangers - J Skramesto, Askeland, Norway.

16/12/06  Hibernian - A Fernie, Polmont.

30/12/06  Inverness CT - G Young, Falkirk.

Reserve  S Traynor, Falkirk.

We are delighted to have one of our most popular Social Night Acts "Silly Connolly" arriving this week to promote BairnsTrust. See the article on the Falkirk FC website to see what he will be up to!

SPL sponsors Bank of Scotland have an intriguing competition of their own that you may wish to try:

BairnsTrust are delighted to announce that in conjunction with Falkirk FC we will become sole agents for the launch of the new 1876 club. This will be a live, public, monthly draw for top prizes, in return for a standing order of £10/month. The more members who join the bigger the prizes will become and the Trust will benefit financially as a result. We encourage you to join and application forms will be available at the BairnsTrust stall located on the concourse in the Main Stand at home games.

Trust members are now entitled to a 10% discount from the cost of meals at the 11 Restaurant in the Falkirk Stadium on Sundays to Thursdays and from 12.00noon until 6.00pm on match days on all a-la-carte menu items. The remainder of the discount cards have now been posted out. We are glad to announce the Amarillo as our second Corporate Sponsor of the season.

To those people who have requested one of our new, eagerly awaited, BairnsTrust 2006-07 Polo/T-shirt, again the samples have been delayed, this is due to Staff illness at the printers in Manchester. This has prompted the Trust to now seek an alternative, local source and we are hoping to have stocks soon.

The Trust was contacted by Mercat Press Publishers who have produced a new book entitled "Scotland! Scotland! Complete Who's Who of Players since 1940". More than 470 players have represented Scotland on the football pitch since 1946. This comprehensive book profiles all of them. Each player’s Scotland record is explored in a mini-biography complemented by a full statistical record of every match they played. It includes legendary players like Jim Baxter, ‘Jinky’ Johnstone, Denis Law, Kenny Dalglish and Ally McCoist, as well as the most obscure players who ever played for Scotland and gained only one international cap. A vital collection for every football fan. A 480 page paperback, please visit their site where a discount is given when buying online, and if you mention BairnsTrust you could be invited to attend the book's launch at Hampden Park!

You will note when you visit our website that it is now undergoing reconstruction. Please bear with us as it will be both fully operational and bang up-to-date soon.

Finally, if you have any topics or articles you wish to be included in future BairnsTrust Electronic Newsletters, please respond by your preferred contact method below.
