This is a special edition of the electronic update of BairnsTrust activities.
You are cordially invited to attend the monthly BairnsTrust meeting in the Warm Up Area of the Falkirk Community Stadium on Monday 19th March 2007, KO at 7.30pm, where the guest speaker will be Elaine Millar, the newly appointed Development Officer at Supporters Direct in Scotland, working alongside James Proctor.
There will be a full agenda for discussion, but if you have any concerns you wish to raise, please respond to either email@example.com or post your query on the message board at our website, and we will try to cover on the night.
If you are unable to attend, the minutes from the meeting will appear on our website 7-10 days later for your perusal.
At the Trust meeting on Monday 15th January 2007, it was suggested that these Newsletters be shortened, to prevent IT complications, and that attachment files be eliminated. Future Newsletters may now simply inform you to visit our website at your convenience for the full version. Feel free to comment if you are for or against this idea.
At the last meeting on Monday 19th January 2007, a volunteer from your Committee formally agreed to become the BairnsTrust Public Relations Officer. This role will simply ensure the Trust's activities are regularly circulated amongst the local media via our friends at the Falkirk Herald, Central FM, the Matchday Programme, Falkirk FC, etc.
A cheque for the sum of £100 has now been received from the Club, re the set-up of the Falkirk FC Former Players Association, which BairnsTrust administer. It was agreed that this would be payable to BairnsTrust by Falkirk FC to cover the administration costs thereof and is gratefully acknowledged.
The BairnsTrust website is now fully operational and updated. Information on Meeting Minutes and Newsletters can be found in the relevant sections. We have made many new additions including a games room, the new online shop, ticket sales for our future events and now the facility to pay for all products and membership by "Paypal."

Falkirk FC have allowed BairnsTrust to become an Official Matchday Programme vendor using our stall on the concourse in the Main Stand at home games as the point of sale. We will cater for those who wish to buy INSIDE the Stadium prematch and in return the Trust will receive the standard “sellers fee” in return. This is proving a great success so far.
We are now taking orders for our new range of framed photos of the Falkirk Stadium Main Stand. Small and medium sized greetings cards are also available. Due to demand we have asked for costings on an even bigger A2/A1 print! The photo used is copyright of our friends at AK Photo Art and all profits go to BairnsTrust. Similarly we can receive orders for the Celtic Park and Ibrox etchings mentioned above that are marketed by a Trust member who has already taken large orders from Old Firm fans.
Copies of the new Silly Connolly CD are going well. Lasting nearly an hour and containing 21 sketches and songs the Trust have benefited from the stock we have obtained with all profits going directly to the Trust. Copies at £8 each can be purchased by your preferred contact method below.
Trust member Michael White has also given the Trust a stock of his new "Book of FFC Lists" with the Trust receiving a donation from every one sold. Again this is much appreciated. Copies can still be bought at our stall on the concourse in the Main Stand at home games.
For those who requested one of our BairnsTrust 2006-07 Polo/T-shirts the order has now been produced. Available for collection at the home game v Celtic on Sunday 18th March 2007. Members who had ordered a shirt can either accept this delayed promotion or be entitled to their full £4 refund, in cash, by visiting the stall, where your details will be checked and a note of refund taken. To cut down on postage we hope members are able to collect their shirt from the stall in person. Thereafter the remainder will be posted out. Please bring to the game your membership card and allow sufficient time for BairnsTrust to process your details before uplift.

We have been contacted recently by a few former "Sharesavers" willing to sell their shares in the Club. Through the culmination of Contingency Fund donations over the past couple of years, the Trust are in a position to purchase said shares and have progressed this opportunity by making a written offer and await their response.
BairnsTrust have also received correspondence from the famous Graeme Lightbody, the current keepie-up record holder with a personal best of 40,000! Graeme has gone from strength to strength since discovering his somewhat unusual skills two years ago. It took him just three hours and 15 minutes to net a place in the British record books with a staggering 14,300 manoeuvres and ever since he has been in demand. Graeme has received invites from all over to strut his stuff entertaining the crowds with his phenomenal party piece. He has also become a regular at Partick Thistle's ground, Firhill in Glasgow, where he entertains the fans before games on matchdays and Falkirk FC have also recruited him before. If any member has any planned gala days, summer fairs or other events that would benefit from an appearance, please see Graeme's own website for more contact details ... www.keepieuppie.homestead.com
