New Chairman & Vice-Chairman announced!
At the last monthly meeting, Steven Jackson announced that he was stepping down as Chairman of BairnsTrust due to health reasons. He stated that he has had a great time spent as Chairman, making some mistakes but doing a lot more good, and believes that the BairnsTrust model is the way forward. He thanked the committee for all their support and wished everyone well for the future. Steven will continue on the committee. BairnsTrust would like to thank Steven for the commitment he has shown throughout his tenure as Chairman.
At the following committee meeting, Tom Paterson was voted on as the new Chairman, with Sandy Monfries stepping up into the Vice-Chairman role.
At the same meeting, member Mike Dickins was proposed and seconded as a co-optee to the committee and duly takes his place starting immediately.
Disabled Supporters Group
A well attended meeting in the warm up area of the stadium on Wednesday (11th) night, confirmed that FFC Disabled Supporters Club will be set up to help all it's members to get the best possible enjoyment from the game.
During the meeting, attendees voiced their concerns about issues which they had experienced at other grounds as well as the Falkirk Stadium, some good ideas were put forward and the Disabled Supporters Club hope to deal with them subsequently. "We are not expecting instant changes, but we will keep working towards them" commented an attendee.
Keith Ferguson from CAFE was the guest speaker of the evening. Read the full story here
Family Marquee Launched
The sight of a marquee being erected outside the stadium last Saturday was reminiscent of the popular ‘Budvar Bar’ outside Brockville in our previous first division days. Unfortunately for some, no alcoholic beverages were on the menu; instead this was the launch of the brand new family tent! Open from 1pm on match days, family section season ticket holders have a place to get together with a multitude of games, entertainment, football coaching and refreshments on offer. The first game was hailed a massive success with the only downside being identified as the expensive tuck shop. These concerns have been raised and hopefully this will be resolved for the next game. BairnsTrust are taking an active role in helping this new initiative run smoothly and anyone who would like to help out please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org

It doesn't have to be much but any help will be appreciated. Matchday helpers will gain free access into games in return for their assistance.
